I had some free time on Saturday and thought I had missed seeing Dunkirk…but joy it was on the IMAX and wow!

I was even more a wow for me as my father was a RAF engineer traped on the beaches at Dunkik with two other RAF colleagues…he was rescued but had said little about it except that the Channel was a millpond that day.

Thank you ODEON for helping to understand what he may have gone through.

Went to see the 6.30 film fifth shades darker tonight ,firstly the food station was a disgrace ,it needed s good cleaning .nachos and sauces were all messed up , no decent sweets in the pick o mix stand and the floors were filthy .A few staff standing around that could have made them selves useful cleaning up abit ,looks like staff too young to care ,need an older person to supervise .Then people walking in and out during the film ,.it has lost its enjoyment and by the looks of it its customers to,i was in Charlestown odeon last month and the difference compared to coolock .its a shame ,,from a not too happy cinema go’er Susan Forde

  • Can you please tell me why the Odeon in Basingstoke can not get hold of and show the film Jackie it’s a film my friend and I have been looking forward to seeing, as have many more of our local people.

Yesterday, January 24th, I went to the 2.30pm showing of La La Land at The Odeon in Banbury.
The two members of staff on duty were Eva, a Hungarian girl and a Polish girl whose name I did not catch. I will return there next week to see Lion – mainly because the cheerfully efficient service they provided made an enjoyable film a thoroughly exceptional experience. As we arrived early Eva went off up a back corridor and dragged out 2 chairs for us to sit on in the foyer as we had coffee. Such a change to see people enjoying their work, taking a pride in what they do and welcoming clients warmly. Thank you Odeao.

went Odeon in Crewe a chap named Chris went the extra mile for us yesterday. I asked for two hotdogs 10 mins before the film was due to start and he said they would take 20 mins to cook. So we sat down to watch the movie and he delivered the hotdogs to us where we were seated. that is great service which we did not expect . Odeon should be proud to employ him.

Its always a quick service, but something I find irritating, is there is no easy to see display of the weeks filmtimes. Compare this to Cineworld + Showcase who always have large electronic infomation boards.

My wife and I use the Odeon Hereford regularly. All the staff are cheerful and friendly and the place is clean and tidy. It’s hard to single out a single individual for a special mention as they all do a great job, but recently we’ve had dealings with Dave, Linda and Nathan, all have been exceptional in there service.

Hello, Visiting Worcester Odeon to watch a film, I found the staff very polite and helpful, especially the manager Jim. The cinema was very clean and pleasant. The ticket prices I found to be far better value than a local rival cinema. I will definitely be using this establishment again.
