    Your staff should serve queing customers rather than stand around in the till area chatting to each other.

  • Very disappointed with attitude of Iris who deals with bedding section. I picked a duvet cover I liked and realised pillow slips where not included. There was 3 different styles of pillow slips 2 chose from .I went to open a pack to see as was no picture on packaging. Iris gave me a row was mortified, she said was a hygiene issue.I went to manager and said what had happened and explained the pillows where £35 a pac and I couldn’t bring back if I didn’t like them.She opened a pac to let me see them as she agreed with me.So is her hygiene better than mine.??? Double standards I am 62 and was treated like child,so disappointed as like the shop very much.

    I away spend more than I intend to when visiting Dunelm.
    When I can find a member of staff they have always been helpfull, if they could help they would find someon who could. I also love your coffee shop which has lovely staff and is good value as is your shop.

  • A good shop to visit, if you have been everywhere shopping and still haven’t found what your looking for then take a look here. A huge variety of fair priced stock items ready to carry away there is something for everyone what ever you taste. A well laid out store with an abundance of friendly helpful staff.

    I went to the Newport branch to start stocking my annex out with bedding, towels, bits and pieces, spent far more than I thought (as always). Love the store and get excited for my visit. Have introduced my sister and one of my daughters. My other two daughters live in New Zealand and whenever they visit us, we HAVE to take a trip to Dunelm.

    We went to the Hemel Hempstead branch on Saturday the 23rd March and brought a mirror and 2 curtain poles totalling £72.00. Although very busy we did not have to wait long in the queue and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. An enjoyable shopping experience.

    Dunelm Blackburn
    I am re decorating my dining room, and needed 2 new pairs of new curtains
    the assistant was very helpful as i wanted a 2nd opinion on the curtains I had chosen, this is the 2nd time I have bought curtains from Dunelm and have found them to be good quality, I am now looking at wall lights at Dunelm which I need to purchase very soon, it has everything you need for the house, Brilliant.

    I think its a great place to shop for the house ,it has everything I want and fantastic quality.
    The cafe is the best.
    What a great place to have our regular lunch , great food lovely hot brownie and all perfectly prepared by Fiona and her staff , always with a happy smile, never to much.

    I visited dunelm with my sister we are regular visitors to the store . As I am in my brand new 2 bedroom town house I spent 1500 pounds on furniture today for the new house . The staff are very friendly and very polite and I am one satisfied customer with the service I receive every time I visit the store I who would recommend anyone looking to buy quality goods for there home to visit dunelm in Perth .

  • I ordered a blind before I went away in January came back and dunelm left a message on my phone that the blinds could not be done I went down and picked another one and they rushed it through the lady that served me sorry didn’t get her name was lovely and helpful but the only thing they had the same blinds up when I went in the shop the blinds need to be taken down if they can’t do them.

  • Great experience, visited 3 times in last 2 weeks. On each occasion staff very helpful got exactally what I needed and when I returned faulty goods they were very good about those as well.

  • Went to Newbury Dunelm,Checkout assistant,Brenda so helpful with my exchanges and very kind.Also asked another smiley happy assistant if she had any blinds in the size I needed and happily went and looked for me.
    It is a great store with very helpful and happy assistants.

    Following my move to England 16 years ago,I became very impressed by the quality and the variety of the goods on sale in your stores, and by the high standards of the sales staff in their dealings with customers I have been a regular visitor to many Dunelm stores in the North-East, and I have never been disappointed with any of the purchases I have made .Amongst these have been furniture and accessories for our new home, and we have been delighted with the results. My husband and I also look forward in particular to visiting your restaurants, where the quality of the jacket potatoes is especially outstanding, as is the chocolate cherrycake (truly scrumptious!!).     I am a usual customer of Next and for some time have been satisfied with their service. Recently I searched for an item and came across Dunelm. I spent about £100 the site was so easy to navigate and they had all I needed and were able to show me what I may like to buy to compliment my purchase. After placing my reservation I received a polite telephone call informing me my order was ready to collect. On arrival at the store the staff could not have been more helpful, the checkout process was smooth with all of my purchases ready. What a well organised place. Thank you for a much enjoyed experience I will be back and I will spread the word.

    Love Dunelm purchased armchair back in September, lovely chair and delivery guys were really nice have also purchased 2x lovely curtain rails,they look lovely in my conservatory, i now am looking for a new rug and I know Dunelm do some lovely design’s!! Dunelm has lots of beautiful product’s for the home!!only down side in my local Chichester branch I’ve found it hard to find Assistants when I’ve needed help,and there can be a bit of a wait on the tills🤗

  • Great service until we got to till, asked for gift receipts this had to be done separately on all our purchases
    and then had to pay every time. Got home no gift receipts, should have checked in store. Rang up if we want receipts need to take everything back get credit and re buy, decided can’t do that Ollie needs more training. Tried doing survey would not accept till reference so won’t win gift card

    We visited our local store yeaterday and wanted to purchase a storage box but it had no price on it so we asked a young man called ASHLEY for help, he was very courteous and friendly and went off to find out the price for us, which he did! We later found out while still in the store that the gentleman in question was leaving to go to Head Office, we were able to find him and wish him well, we’re sure he will be greatly missed!

  • I purchased 3 items of furniture today from the Oxford store, the two sales assistants Joe & Callum were both very helpful, they took the items to my car, removed the packaging so the items would fit & loaded them into my car. Both very very friendly & polite which made my experience very pleasant. Also there was another member of staff a lady who also was very helpful.

    The manager Mark at Dunelm in Coventry is the most helpful, accommodating and friendly person we have ever met. He helps customers above and beyond and he is very kind, polite and has excellent communication skills.
    He needs to be recognised by his managers and sent a letter of gratitude and thanks fro his dedication to the company.

    Visit the Aylesbury branch and had a query on a product, well the service Belinda gave was excellent not only did she answer the my query she helped with comparison between two products also recommended another product to enhance are wellbeing in this hot weather. She even took the heavy product to the till area while we continued are shopping all this service with a smile. I can honestly say she actually made me good about myself and the whole shopping experience. Well done to Belinda what an asset to your store and team

    The following young ladies were excellent. Izzy,Sue and Julie. Sadly Paul who managers the fitters was less than professional. I had an issue regarding the fitting of our blinds and was told several times he would ring me. It did not happen but the staff at Grantham did their best to resolve the complaint. When the fitter turned up i took him approx 30 minutes to rectify the problem which had been reported 5 weeks before.

    I always visit the Pausa cafe at the Lincoln store because the staff are friendly and helpful. Also the cafe is spotlessly clean and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

    We went to your Castle Vale store and were so impressed with Glenn who helped us around the different part of the store so that both my sister and I didn’t have to waste any of our time. Glenn was extremely polite and helpful.

    Have been looking for a small chair for some time, and Dunelm had a sale so had a look. Saw a lovely cream one, nice and comfortable, so got it straight away. A nice lady assistant not only carried it to the till for us, but also took it to the car and helped us load it. First class service which was very much appreciated.

    30th May went to Hartlepool Dunelm Store Impressed with curtain variety. Customer Service assistant ‘Sophie’ was very helpful in ordering a pair of tab-top curtains that I needed, over the internet and then assisting with purchasing a pair of eyelet curtains, to suit our windows. Very pleased with the delivery service. Given an hour ‘window’ for delivery of the curtains. Excellent service from all staff!!

  • On the 23 rd of this month we called into your store in Chelmsford for the first time and was well impressed , the following day we purchased a Wilson Side Table , I completed assembling it today – a task I was not too certain about, however the instructions were perfect in every detail – thanks, I will certainly be back to view your other product.

    I visited Dunelm in Southampton this afternoon and went to three departments. The young lady in the bedding department was extrenekt helpful and informative. The lighting department was brilliant and was self explanatory. The curtain department assistant was really good and we were most impressed with the variety of stiles and types of materials – unfortunately we could now remember the exact measurements we needed so we will be revisiting the store as soon as possible

    Ordered on line and reserved to pick up in store, item was ready to pick up in less than half hour at lancaster branch, Ella, the young lady who served me was very, very polite and helpful asking if there were anything else i required as she would go get it for me to save me walking around the store, keep up the good work Dunelm, brilliant service, i have used the store hundreds of times, great.

    recently visited the Uddingston store nice atmosphere staff were very helpful & friendly went to look for a table cover a throw a frying pan & a Wok managed to get all of them with a great choice of products, going back in today for towels brilliant choice lots of colors to choose from

  • Today I visited the Grantham store and bought a teapot very pleased with my purchase but not with the service i received at the till. The assistant did not offer any wrapping , I had to ask for some tissue paper and wrap it myself,not a very pleasant shopping experience .

  • Used cafe service was very slow and a queue formed quickly.only one person serving need to improve sevice

    Dunhelm Catord. I am a live in Carer and took my client here today to pick up some tea towels and veg peeler. Not too exciting but for her to get out and have a wander around the store browsing it meant so much. We had lunch at the in store coffee shop. I cannot praise the staff enough. Totally accommodating and helpful. On top of that the particular girl that served us was fun. She made a run of the mill shop into a lovely experience not just for my client but for myself. Sadly I did not get her name but she was on the counter at 14.00. Fantastic. We nearly made it out of the store before buying a single duvet cover and lovely scatter cushion.

    I visited the Catford store to attempt to obtain a quote for made to measure very large curtains. I wasn’t hopeful as I had failed miserably in a major high street store. I was lucky enough to meet assistant called Titi, she Sat me down and took the time and the trouble to produce a quote. I returned yesterday to place the order and again she excelled after we found the chosen fabric was out of stock. She made numerous phone calls and eventually was able to confirm the order placed. It is a very long time since I have received such excellent service making a major purchase a pleasure. Well done Dunelm in your choice of staff, this store will definately be my first choice when browsing or purchasing.

    I purchased a Swish curtain rail and accessories on line, assisted by customer services advice by telephone. I returned unused items to my local Huddersfiled and received a credit note as I had purchased through Paypal.
    The rail is very good quality and was easy to fit. The advice and service I received throughout the process was excellent!

    My mother and I visited the newly refurbished Dunelm store at Olbury today (29/1/18).
    What a great experience we had.
    The store is bright and fresh, clean and colourful.
    There was a large choice available of all merchandise on sale.
    Most importantly, there were a good number of staff working on the shop floor and they were friendly, helpful and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
    We shall DEFINITELY be returning soon.

    Yet again a visit to Dunelm at the Huntingdon store would not be complete without a visit to the cafe. the food is always good but the height of any visit is the staff who work there.
    They are so friendly and make every effort to cheer people up with polite chat.
    The service and speed of such is first class.
    These people are a credit to Dunelm and you are lucky to have them WELL DONE

    I visited Dunelm on the Cambridge Road, Enfield today, 04.01.18. I bought three sale items, one of which, fabric, was marked down to half price. On getting home I found that I had been charged full price. This reminded me that last year I bought a duvet from the same store which was on a promotion and got home to find that the reduction had not been applied. My husband paid by credit card on both occasions and did not query the charge ! ! Not good enough, Dunelm. Sale should mean Sale. I live about six.miles from the store and have to toss up whether the cost of petrol there and back, and the waste of my time would outweigh this carelessness.

    Usually have go to Colchester branch as it was my nearest. Now we have a brilliant larger new store in Chelmsford, excellent goods as usual, excellent value as usual, spoilt for choice with lots of exciting products and always a delight to find such a choice of colours in bedding and towels etc. Fantastically friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff. Great restaurant too, nice clean toilet facilities.

    I found my Fab U lous Naiya rug in the new Nottingham store. I had to order the largest size online it was delivered very quickly within days.

    Extremely good service all round from the shop floor staff to the delivery with 2 hour time slot.

    We just collected a footstool from the Taunton shop. Although this item was not stocked in Taunton, the manager offered to bring one into the store from Weston Super-Mare. What a service!!! I am very grateful. I am a regular Dunelm customer. I would certainly recommend this shop.

    I did a HUGE new house shop yesterday (£800) and was served by the MOST helpful Indian gent called DK. As I am not ‘local’ I was boggled by the choices on offer but DK very patiently helped me through it all, helped me pack my 4 trolley loads and even helped me to the car with all my goodies! As is customary from where I come from I wanted to tip him but he completely refused – what a gentleman! Also, stupidly on my behalf, I had a 10% discount voucher which I completely forgot to bring out at the cashier. When I was informed that I could still use it but it would entail re-checking every item, unfortunately I did not have time to do that, silly me, i could have cried!! Anyway, credit here goes to DK!

  • What a lovely experience I had shopping in a beautifully laid out shop and to top it all some gifts just that little bit different to the rest. Only went in for a can opener. Came out with a bag full of gifts and yep..no can opener I got carried away …staff were wonderfully helpful too . So it’s a great big 10 from me !

    The staff at the Radcliffe store are always ready to help you find what you want and will take you to the item you want if you cannot find it. We usually have a cup of tea on our visit and the girls always smile and have a chat. It’s a real pleasure to visit the store.

  • I visited my local store in Bristol, loads of things to look at and I bought some fantastic Christmas presents for my Family well chuffed and my friend bought some light bulbs. Staff was very helpful could not find the right bulb, but they found me one straight away the packaging had changed that was all.wonderfull store love shopping there.

    Your survey is not very helpful. I lost the receipt so could not add the numbers. There is no space for comments – my Dad is 87 and can walk short distances, It would be helpful if you could stock a wheelchair for people like my Dad who would like to buy more by being able to look around the whole store but can’t walk that sort of distance. We always go in have some food and then go to one point to buy whatever he wants because he gets so much pain from walking. I am sure there are loads of other customers in a similar situation. The service is always good and staff are knowledgeable about products and more importantly where to find them.

    Went to Catford store on 7/10/17 for Bolsters. None out on floor, shop busy, all staff already dealing with customers. I went to the till for he,p and was greeted by Andrea. Smiling. Happy to assist, checked system and proceeded to stock room for 3 of them. Then sauced covers from shop floor too. Efficient, polite, effortless customer service and very agreeable. Little Star. I spent £85.00 and went back following day and spent a further £40.00. Have receipts but service praise was hers and not cashiers!
    Store was good value, range and choice. Well done Dunelm… I’m spreading the word!

    At check out Louise served os. Very polite and helped us out of store with our goods to the car.

    Visited the High Wycombe store for the helicopter chair that was in the sale. Son very pleased with his early Christmas gift. Shop is set up very well with a lovely cafe too. As for the chair, nightmare to assemble! The allen key was useless and parts did not fit well. But sorted it in the end and enjoying the bank holiday sunshine.

    Tried to complete the survey – page refused the till receipt number in the end had to tick box saying didn’t have a receipt.
    Poor survey if you can’t put in the data.
    Norwich store ok but as a man waiting while my wife wanted to shop – store was hot and I felt faint but nowhere to sit down.
    First aides eventually saw me trying to find somewhere to sit and offered to find a wheel chair- it wasn’t a wheel chair I wanted but a seat
    Why do modern stores never have somewhere to sit down

    I was in your Bolton store on 14th June this year and I was looking for a new duvet and pillows. I struggle sometimes because I have MS and use a wheelchair as a mobility aide but also if I get tired I can sit in it. I was quite daunted by the number of duvets and pillows you sold so I asked a very nice lady if she could give me some advice. Not only did she do that but insisted I remained seated and she brought me various items to look at and I finally found what I wanted and they were also in the sale! I didn’t get the lady’s name but I would like to say thank you to everyone at your Bolton store and hope all your other stores have such pleasant and helpful staff.

    My third visit to dunelm in the last two weeks having just moved house . Today’s purchase was bedding and two rugs . I couldn’t find the 3/4 size bedding section ! The staff member who showed me where to look was amazing offering knowledge and advise she even took my items to the checkout . I find the store brilliant as I can kit out all the room in my home in one place at a great price and good quality .

    Today we purchased a Bread Bin that was shelf priced at £24.99. When we checked the receipt at home we had been charged £30.00. I rang the store [Wakefield] and complained. I was told that the item had been re-priced to £30.00 and the shelf price had been forgotten. I have been offered a refund of the £5.01 and will have to return to the store to activate the refund. NOT HAPPY

    My experience at Dunelm on Sunday was one of excitement, after finding a pair of your New Lamps “Jenna” that I had been looking for for several weeks, I kept browsing online, I asked in the shop at Lowerstoft & no one had seen them, but advised to keep looking.     I went into Dunelm in Uddingston last Friday, 3.3.17, just for a ‘nosey’ to see what their bedding was like. I asked the assistant Lucy for some advice and ended up spending £552.67 on sheets and duvet covers. It turned out to be an expensive ‘nosey’, but Lucy was really helpful and went out of her way to find more items from the back store to match ones that we had already agreed on.
    I got everything that I needed from the one visit and the prices were okay as well. Couldn’t and wouldn’t have managed without Lucy’s help. What a pleasant girl!

    Having worked in retail myself the staff are remarkably helpful and friendly towards friendly customer service. I did not anticipate spending on the items that day , some of which were reduced. I shall definitely make a return visit because dunelm sell other products that I was unaware of .

    Second visit today. When I got home I found I had been charged £10 for some tree lights which were marked up at £5 and a set of four Christmas mugs marked up at £4 I was also charged £10. On phoning the store to speak to someone I kept being told there was no one to answer my call and there was no way I could leave a message. I now have to go back again tomorrow to sort this out. Not the best of days for me.

    We visited the new store in Redditch as we were looking for two bar stools for our new kitchen. A very nice young man was so helpful in showing us the different styles and allowing us to try them for comfort. Once the kitchen was finished we went back to purchase two black stools. Unfortunately the store did not have any in stock so the same young man ordered us two and they were delivered within a few days. We are thrilled with them. Good product and good customer care. Looking forward to shopping there again.

    I have no wish to download any useless information onto my computer. I would however comment that our visit to Dunhelm Lincoln woul have been perfect if there were better checkout facilities and staff I would love a £500 gift voucher if that was all this is about

    I went in Telford store today looking for Teddy Bear Super Soft. I asked a young male assistant where to find them. He immediately took me to the section but the colour in the size I required was not there. Jared then asked me to follow him to one of the computers where he looked to see if there were any in stock. There were none so he put an order in to have them delivered to my home. Such a helpful, pleasant young man .

    visited your new reddtch store as this is closer to our address than your store at Worcester where we have made many visits and purchases Redditch is very similar well set out and all very helpful we are now spoilt choice

    I always find the Dunelm shop in Weston-Super-Mare well stocked with up to the minute homeware etc.,at competitive prices, the staff are always friendly and very helpful, always a pleasure to spend a couple of hours browsing instore.

    I can;t speak highly enough of the staff at the Kilmarnock branch, I was there yesterday and they were so helpful and so nice sometimes young ones can’t be bothered with older people asking silly questions but they were kind and nice Well done they deserve a “diamond” star

    I went to the new store in Aylesbury today, amazing every thing under one roof, as I am moving house I now can get furniture Curtains, all the bedding and every thing for the kitchen, very good prices, and the staff could not have been more helpfu, Zoe served me today and with a smile …. that counts for a lot will be back very soon

    Dunelm £250 gift card is a con, try and get into the survey and you end up God knows Where with other fly-by-nights wanting you to do other dodgy contests – Dunelm no thanks you should be ashamed!!!!
